Our Projects
Industrial Robotics
This was a project to design a semiconductor wafer handling robot. This was designed to automate and facilitate the handling of silicon wafers during the semiconductor manufacturing process. Wafer handlers are integrated with semiconductor process tools which perform various manufacturing tasks throughout the semiconductor production lifecycle.
Automation Design
We have been involved in various automation and special purpose machinery design. This was a specific project to design a machine that will place fasteners onto electronic boxes.
Desktop Scientific Instrumentation
Alristech has helped a client with designing of the eProtein desktop bioprinter, which delivers high value proteins through the novel combination of cell-free technologies and digital microfluidics.
Piezoelectric Printhead Design
We have been involved in designing the Xaar 1002 piezoelectric printhead, which incorporates multiple new technology features, giving improved drop volume uniformity and drop placement accuracy for an even higher quality printed image. Featuring 1000 Optimised Geometry nozzles, the Xaar 1002 can jet and place drops with the highest precision on the market. As a result this new printhead produces the smooth tones and solid areas needed to replicate natural materials that are virtually indistinguishable from the real thing.
Data Centre Solutions
Design of the TS3-C10, the world’s fastest Thunderbolt to USB Hub, offering up to a 10x speed boost compared to standard hubs which we use
Medical Devices
Piezoelectric Nanopositioning Devices
The NPS-Z-500B-UHV delivers over 100 µm full range at 80K at UHV. The stage is designed to operate in closed loop mode using capacitive positioning sensors. The advanced flexure design results in a highly linear device with outstanding resolution, repeatability, stiffness and stability. Low off-axis errors and a high resonant frequency further enhance the performance of this advanced design.
Piezoelectric Microscopy Stage
This low-profile, piezo-driven stage provides 500 µm of travel in the vertical (Z-axis) direction. The closed-loop, active feedback ensures correct positioning with submicron repeatability and Z-axis resolution of 25 nm. The stage is used on microscopes together with Petri dishes or other adapters.
Large Printing Machinery Design
Alristech was involved in developing the next generation printing machine with Inca Digital Printers
